Who are we?
The Awareness Committee in NUSPS consists of the Pharmacy Profession Awareness Committee (PPAC) and Industrial Relations Awareness Committee (IRAC).
PPAC aims to raise awareness about the roles of Clinical Pharmacists whether in the Communities or Hospitals while IRAC aims to raise awareness about the various Pharmaceutical industries available and what they have to offer.
Brief Overview of PPAC
The Pharmacy Profession Awareness Committee is the educational outreach arm of NUS Pharmaceutical Society which aims to raise awareness about the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists in our community. Internally, we promote the Pharmacy profession among the students and expose them to various future career opportunities that they can explore during their undergraduate years. Externally, we also educate the public about the important role of pharmacists in the healthcare team. We strive to showcase the great potential of pharmacists in making an impact on our society as well as to garner greater awareness and appreciation for this profession.
Brief Overview of IRAC
Industrial Relations Awareness Committee provides channels for students to gain a better grasp of what the pharmaceutical industry has to offer, by creating greater awareness and interest in academic opportunities that complement industry experiences, ultimately preparing students for their career. It aims to equip students with the necessary skills and technical knowledge to enter the pharmaceutical industry as confident and competent individuals who will go on to be strongholds in their respective fields.
