Academic Committee

The UPIP and Internship Opportunities Sharing comprised of sharings by 3 seniors who have gone on internship in previous semesters. The sharing began with a short admin brief about the UPIP programme and where the Y1 and Y2 PHS students could search for resources regarding the administrative procedures. The main internship job functions that were shared on were Medical Affairs, Research, and Pharmacovigilance. The sharings were in depth and comprised also of a comprehensive QnA segment. Overall, the event ran smoothly and served its purpose in providing the PHS students with personal insights by seniors into what internships in the pharmaceutical industry might look like. Students that attended this sharing session would have been more equipped with the know-how to make their choices on internship opportunities.
