International Relations Committee

Global Health Forum is an annual event by NUSPS International Relations Committee to introduce students to pertinent global health issues. This year, it is planned for the 2nd of September and titled “Introduction to Global Health and the Role of Pharmacy in Global Health”.

We invited guest speakers with a diverse range of expertise relevant to global heath and the role of pharmacy/pharmaceutical science in this field!

Our speakers:

2. Mr Myat Thu Kyaw

Chairperson of Professional Development, International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation

Topic: The Role of Pharmacy in Global Health 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

3. Dr Jasmine Ong Chiat Ling

Principal Clinical Pharmacist, Singapore General Hospital

Topic: AI and the Future of Global Health 🤖🤖

Also, an exciting mini case study competition after the talk was also included where students will come up with solutions to a given scenario in teams, so that students could utilise what they had learnt from the speakers and apply it in real life scenarios.
