The objective of Flag Day was to raise funds for Community Chest which will then be disbursed to various other Social Services Agencies, including our partnered beneficiary, LCSS. Participants will collect donations from the public with

Flag Day is an annual initiative by NUSSU to collect donations from the public for a good cause and all proceeds will go towards Community Chest, the national coordinating body for social service agencies. The funds raised will be used to support these agencies, such as our beneficiary Life Community Services Society (LCSS), in carrying out their programmes to help the less fortunate in Singapore, which will help them continue improving the lives of more than 900 children, youth, and families in Singapore!

With everyone’s enthusiasm and hard work, we managed to collect a total of $1638.95 despite our small team of 26 flaggers!
