Fleming, as one of the five houses in NUSPS, serves to provide a platform to allow fellow Flemingoes to forge friendships. To instil a sense of pride and belonging to the house, Fleming has come up with a variety of initiatives to bond house members from all batches. By holding more regular physical events throughout the semester, as well as interacting even more with members in the House, Fleming House Committee hopes to reignite the passion that our members have for our Fleming House. 
The Fleming House Committee is split into 4 subdivisions.
  • Our wonderful Treasurer/Secretary team is in charge of house funds, accounting and logistics for our fun-filled house events.
  • Our fun-loving Programmes team is in charge of coming up with creative initiatives as well as planning and executing our house events.
  • Our talented Publicity team takes charge of designing publicity materials and publicising house events on Instagram and Telegram.
  • Our kind and caring Welfare team assists in welfare pack distribution and is in charge of safety during house events.

Our Events

  • Schcyling With Flends

    Schycling With Flends was the first event held by the new House Comm (in collaboration with Scheele!) and was to introduce the freshmen to their houses and for them to bond with their house-mates!! We started at East Coast Park and ended at the Esplanade, after which we bought dinner from Suntec City for a nice dinner in Marina Barrage. It was a great opportunity to destress and meet new people! We’re sure to treasure the friends we have made through the event!

  • Bawooobeque

    Bawooobeque is a BBQ x potluck event to promote house bonding between Flemingoes and form a stronger house identity and spirit amongst the various Fleming TBLs. Held at one of the House Committee member’s condominiums, Flemingoes met in the evening while eagerly waiting for the food to be prepared. Everyone had fun chatting and playing games, forgetting about the stress from our recent midterms. The food was great but the company was even better!

  • MEHHHgical island hAWOOOpping

    MEHHHgical island hAWOOOpping is a island hopping event, in collaboration with Galen! We met early in the morning at Marina South Pier, ready to board the ferry to the Southern Islands, St John and Lazarus Island! Upon reaching the islands, we started a short trek around both islands, admiring the scenery and immersing ourselves in the sights and sounds of nature. After trekking, we played frisbee, volleyball and more at the beach! By 2pm, we were all exhausted and headed back to the ferry terminal, but feeling refreshed with the fun we had!
