Academic Committee
The sharing session comprised of sharings by 3 seniors that are currently doing a UROPS project. The projects that were shared on included both dry lab and wet lab, therefore the audience could hear the experiences in both types of UROPS and thereby understand what each type of lab environment would entail. 2 of the seniors were from PHS and 1 senior was from the BPharm curriculum. As such, both perspectives of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science students on taking on a UROPS project and how to fit it into the respective curriculums were shared with the audience. Overall, the event ran smoothly and number of participants exceeded the proposed number. This event served its purpose on providing not just general administrative information on applying for a UROPS project, but also key personal insights from seniors who have embarked on such projects. It also provided an avenue for any queries to be answered. Therefore, students who have attended this sharing will now be able to make a better informed decision about applying for UROPS.
