This year, we have invited pharmacists from Changi General Hospital (CGH) to give our students an on-site visit and tour of the CGH pharmacy and its services. Through this, we hope to allow students an opportunity to gain insights into the workings of a pharmacy and the variety of roles pharmacists can play in clinical practice by providing a platform to interact and connect with pharmacists from different specialties and institutes. At CGH, we were honoured to be able to tour the various pharmacies as well as listen to sharings by the pharmacists on their working experience post graduation. This provided us with an overview of future worklife, especially when the pharmacists shared with us the different skillsets and working life of both an outpatient and inpatient pharmacist would be required to have in future.
