First hand experiences from our participants:

Medical Impact Mentorship was a memorable experience of networking with other healthcare students and mentors who shared their wisdom and abundant experiences as a leader within their field. I was honoured to have Dr Cassandra Chang, a senior clinical pharmacist at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Dr Lau Tang Ching and a senior consultant Rheumatologist from National University Health System and Dr Linus Chua, from St Luke's Hospital. I even had the opportunity to meet with Dr Ang Hui Gek from SGH and previously held the position of the President of the Singapore Pharmacy Board. I learnt to before taking a step as a leader, to find my purpose in life and it will then, shape my choice as a person, healthcare professional and a leader. This mentorship also shaped my understanding of the type of leader I am and what it takes to be a "good leader". After the 4 weeks, I was left pondering to think about the future I would like to construct from being a leader. Although the sessions are only 4 weeks, the lessons and friends you make can last a lifetime!
