Pheauture Pharmaceutical Career Fair
The Pheauture is here!
Did you catch it? Held on October 21st, the Pheauture Pharmaceutical Career Fair was held to connect our eager and aspiring Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science students with industry experts and professionals. It also served to deepen their understanding of the pharma-sector.
Pheauture brought together some of the greatest players in Singapore’s healthcare and pharmaceutical fields: SingHealth — Singapore’s largest public healthcare sector, National University Hospital — Singapore’s leading university hospital, and MSD — global vaccine giant. This diverse gathering of reputable companies, each with their own extensive portfolios, let attendees gain many valuable insights, as well as build their professional network and connections.
So, how did the fair play out? Upon entering the Medicine+Science library, students first had to head over to the registration booth, where they got to decide the next path of their journey. They could choose between attending talks held by industry leaders (The Speaker Talks), or networking with professionals at their respective booths.
The Speaker Talks featured exciting talks by Alexandra Hospital and SingHealth. They shared unique tips and tricks for our aspiring pharmacists, and even spilled the tea on the sector’s demands and obstacles. Not to mention, participation came with a free goodie bag!
At the Networking Booths, attendees got the rare opportunity to have a personal chat with various industry professionals to learn more about their roles and clarify their doubts. Notably, attendees were particularly drawn to MSD’s booth, which boasted an enthralling experience with their Virtual Reality (VR) set - it’s definitely giving future-ready!
It goes without saying, Pheauture was a truly invaluable experience. No one knows what the future lies - but the Pheature participants, they’re all ready for it! If you’re interested, keep an eye out for next year's Pheauture Pharmaceutical Career Fair. It’s sure to broaden your horizons and who knows, it may even pave the way to a promising career.
