Essential Medicines (EMed) is the voluntary wing of the National University of Singapore Pharmaceutical Society (NUSPS). Our members are a dedicated group of people who plan, execute and take part in meaningful activities that contribute back to the society. This includes pharmacy-related volunteering projects such as medication reviews as well as other other ad-hoc projects. One of our flagship programs is Know Your Medicines, Get it Right! (KYMGIR). KYMGIR is a free health check-up provided for elderly residents, where licensed pharmacists are involved in reviewing the medications of the participants alongside student volunteers.
